The Superstar is YoYoFactory's successor to the G5. It features the G5's H-Shape but is more angular and has a slightly different weight distribution.
The Superstar logo in the center and YoyoFactory's name on the rim are laser engraved and the yo-yo itself is anodized. The surface is anodized but still has the machine lines on the first versions. On the re release it is bead-blasted on the outside and left the same on the inside.
Notable users of this yo-yo include John Ando, who used it when he won the 2008 World Yo-Yo Contest, and Kentaro Kimura, who used this yo-yo to win the 2008 and 2009 3A World Yo-Yo Contest.
